3.419 Mitglieder zum Jahreswechsel - Anhaltendes Mitgliederwachstum zusätzlicher Vertrauensbeweis und -vorschuss

Zum Start in das Jahr 2022 zählt der sächsische Landesverband von BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN 3.419 Mitglieder und damit so viele wie nie. Zu Beginn des Jahres 2021 waren es noch 2.882 Mitglieder.

Dazu erklärt Christin Furtenbacher, Landesvorstandssprecherin von BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN in Sachsen:

»Wie das komplette öffentliche Leben wird auch die Arbeit unserer Partei durch die Krisen unserer Zeit bestimmt - allen voran der Corona-Pandemie und dem voranschreitenden Klimawandel. Unsere seit Jahren rasant steigende Mitgliedszahl zeigt, dass unsere Antworten auf die drängenden Fragen Zuspruch von immer mehr Menschen finden. Auch mit Blick auf die frische Regierungsbeteiligung auf Bundesebene ist unser anhaltendes Mitgliederwachstum ein zusätzlicher Vertrauensbeweis und auch -vorschuss.«

Norman Volger, Landesvorstandssprecher, ergänzt:

»Wir Bündnisgrünen werden in ganz Sachsen mehr - in Stadt und Land. Das stärkt unsere Arbeit, die Expertise der Partei und unsere Sichtbarkeit. Wir werden jünger und weiblicher und sehen in der Fortentwicklung der grünen Parteistukturen neben unserer Regierungsbeteiligung in Sachsen eine unserer Hauptaufgaben. Jetzt ist auch die Zeit, erste Weichen für einen erfolgreichen Landtagswahlkampf 2024 zu stellen und bereits dieses Jahr bei den Landrats- und Bürgermeisterwahlen Präsenz zu zeigen.«
